Couldn’t agree more I would even support this kind of investment over charities as it pushes these people to work hard and makes them have a sustainable life growing a business they can live off for ever.

Yes I like Kiva a lot to but the thing that stands out about MicroPlace is that it makes it almost as an investment which I believe will entice more readers/people into participating.

Good post, I also have this on my target list of things to do as soon as my current business ventures subside…its a great opportunity for developing nations workers, although I have read a few negative postings about the fundamentals of how this works. Will try and find the articles.
