I do agree with you in the fact that online gaming/digital distribution is increasing. Their are various plays in that sector which I will mention soon. However on the other statements I am looking personally on a 6-month to 1-year basis at max. In the next year I can only see used video games sales increases especially heading into the Christmas shopping season. New-release sales will increase by the fact of the release of multiple blockbuster name game titles. As for consoles, I see the demand going no where but upwards. We are already building onto the next wave of technology or what many people call PS4, XBOX 720, and Wii 2. Plus we are seeing online become a big business within the consoles. Look at XBOX Live and Playstation Network. Long-term (Five Years or more) you do have valid points that Gamestop will have to address however short term I only see good signals for this company backing the reason I bought in at $23.33.

Although I enjoy most of your articles I must disagree on this one.

A few points to note:

-Digital distribution is gaining steam; used games sales will suffer.

-Keeping margins as high as they currently are will become harder and harder and the P/E will retract.

-Consoles are becoming less relevant as online play picks up.
