Broken Wrist: Way to Start the New Year!!!

Sorry everyone for the delay and not posting last week. I was snowboarding in Lake Tahoe and unfortunately on my last day there I managed to fracture my wrist\while going down a Black Diamond. Despite the immense amount of pain, I am now limited to one hand which makes typing very awkward and difficult. On monday I am scheduled to go to the Orthopedic to get the hard cast put on. At that time I should know how long it will take to recover and how much use I will have of my left hand. Don’t worry I will not be stopping Stocks on Wall Street, however I will just have to become more creative with how I run it. This could incorporate the use of personal made videos, voice writing software, etc. Who knows? Will keep you updated on my progress.

    Sorry to hear about your broken wrist. I bet it is really hard to type with a broken wrist. Bet you are going to become an expert on typing with one hand.

    Duh. Told you I’m old/feeble! Yes, “black diamond”, denoting difficulty. Northstar, though, see I forgot that one too!

    How old, are you? Take it from a broken down old body. You may want to lay off, Black Diamond, and hit the bunny slopes. Nobody, knows the difference, in the bar afterwords, anyway!

    Good luck on the wrist, hope it’s healing. I usta’ spend lot’s of Time…and Money, in Tahoe! Lot’s of skiing, when all they made…were ski’s. Black Diamond, is that @ Heavenly? Sierra Ski Ranch? I ferget’

      Great to hear from you thanks for all the interest. Black diamond is just the term for the difficulty of the slope. I was boarding at Northstar.

    How’s that wrist doing James? I broke my wrist in 2008, while hiking in the mountains. Not Fun! I feel your pain! Hope it is healing quickly and you are feeling better.
